(January 10, 2008) – Terra Digital Audio continues its commitment to design and manufacture best-in-breed Windows-based DAW PCs with the release of the ML12i Pro C2 notebook series. Designed specifically to support Digidesign Pro Tools® LE products, these systems deliver desktop class performance and upgradeability in a sleek mobile solution.
The base model ships with a 2.66 GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 3GB of DDR2 667 MHz memory, a 160GB 7200 RPM hard drive (supports up to 200GB), and an NVIDIA based 8600M GT graphic board with 512GB of DDR3 memory. The system also supports the Intel Core 2 Extreme 2.93 GHZ processor with 1066 MHz front side bus, and 8MB of L2 Cache.
External devices can be connected via USB (2.0), Firewire 400, eSATA, and HDMI. The end result is a mobile audio workstation that provides the performance you would expect from a high-end desktop class DAW.
Terra Digital Audio is pleased to announce that it will now be providing upgrade and local support services at over four hundred locations in twenty different countries. This decision was driven by the continued interest and demand for its Windows-based DAW PCs in international markets.
Terra Digital system owners located within the coverage areas will now be able to upgrade their systems, as well as have them serviced by a local certified Terra Digital Audio support representative. All upgrade and service inquiries will be coordinated through the US corporate office.
